She had almost two years of freedom since she left the battery farm in June 2008.
I have not been keeping you up to date with the chicken situation, Bonnie died a few weeks ago and we lost Maggie last September.

This is not meant to be a sad post as all three girls enjoyed their freedom to the max and we were so pleased to have them as our pets.I made a quilted piece last year to celebrate their freedom which I don't think I have shown on the blog but will be exhibiting at the FOQ in August. Perhaps you might see it there?

Oh, I love chickens and have often thought how I would love to have them.. What beautiful ladies they were.. Didn't even know there was chicken rescue???
