Vintage quilts in antique malls.

Today we have been antique hunting - one of my favourite pastimes! All these photos are of quilts that I saw in the malls but did not buy. They are lovely examples of vintage quilts - great inspiration for scrap quilts.

An ocean waves pattern - the white squares were very grubby but lovely use of colour with the orange.
I really liked this block - would probably be hand pieced - very effective.
Lovely diamond and hexagon pattern.
I really liked this unusual block.
I did buy a vintage quilt today and a few other items - will try to take photos soon.
Also been to Hobby Lobby to use my 40% coupons - I have bought a turnaround cutting mat and a queen size fusible wadding - both great bargains with the coupon.

Can I see a photogragh of the actual Route 66, the road...is it huge? Is it a fast motorway type? Or a country road??
